Last week I had all been gearing up for the fabulous and extraordinary Brussels Ball held at Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire. The weekend's festivities were organised by Amaury Blow, and the entire castle was swept up in the era of the First Empire.

On the 27th June Selina attended The Daphne Guiness Collection which was sold to benefit the Isabella Blow Foundation. Pieces by designer Alexander Mcqueen and Christian Lacroix as well as one-off photographs by Mario Testin were at auction, achieveing an outstanding Total of £476,800.

Each shoe is unique, designed in London and hand made in a workshop set up by Meher in her home town of Karachi. Each shoe is hand embroidered reviving an old tradition with a beautiful stitched detail. The materials used for the Spring Summer collection are soft Nappa Leather from sheep, supple cow skins, Goat for its beautiful grain, wool and velvet.
